Workshop Description

The ETAP Real-Time eSCADA Fundamental Training builds directly on the ETAP Real-Time Foundation course and focuses on operational use of the Real-Time platform. This training moves beyond system setup and introduces participants to live monitoring, alarm management, HMI development, controls, and historical data analysis using ETAP Real-Time.

Successful completion of this training prepares participants for more advanced ETAP Real-Time applications and solution-specific courses.

Prerequisites

  • Participants must have attended the ETAP Real-Time Infrastructure Foundation training course prior to enrolling.

Training Package Includes:

  • Self-paced training videos, Quizzes & exercises
  • Weekly live Interactive discussions sessions with ETAP Experts
  • Technical support for the duration of the course
  • ETAP temporary cloud license valid during the course and 1-month post-completion
  • Final Certification Exam (Optional)

Learning Outcome:

  • Participants will gain hands-on experience configuring and operating real-time monitoring dashboards, implementing alarm architecture, managing operator notes, and executing digital and analog controls across common communication protocols.
  • This training introduces Historian capabilities, enabling participants to archive operational data, analyze trends, generate reports, and perform event playback for post-event analysis.

    Certification & Recognition:

    • Participants will earn the “ETAP RT eSCADA Fundamentals Participant” badge.
    • Candidates who complete the certification exam successfully will receive the “ETAP RT eSCADA Fundamentals Verified Achiever” credential.

    System Requirements:

To ensure a smooth and productive training experience, the following special requirements must be met prior to the start of the ETAP Real-Time Infrastructure Foundation course:

    • Local Administrator Privileges
Participants must have full local administrator rights on their training workstation to install ETAP, configure communication drivers, and modify system settings as needed.
    • Reliable Internet Connection to connect to the ETAP Cloud License Server
