Training & Certification Programs

We offer comprehensive technical training programs designed for both academic institutions and industry professionals. Delivered through ETAP University, our global training network provides hands-on courses across the full ETAP, Caneco, and SEE portfolio.

Each year, we deliver more than 200 technical workshops and certified training programs, enabling participants to:

Perform power system modeling, simulation, and analysis,
Conduct protection coordination and arc-flash studies,
Execute low-voltage design and calculations using Caneco,
Create electrical schematics and design 3D panels with SEE Electrical and SEE 3D Panel.

How can our institution apply?

Which institutions are eligible?
Academic licenses are available to:
- Universities and engineering schools
- Technical colleges
- Vocational training centers
  Eligibility is subject to validation by ETAP.
How long are academic licenses valid?

License duration depends on the academic agreement in place and is typically aligned with academic years, with renewal options available for eligible institutions.
Can academic licenses be used for commercial projects?

No. Academic licenses are strictly limited to teaching, learning and research purposes. Commercial, industrial or consulting use is not permitted.
Are students required to pay anything?

No. Students do not pay any license fees. Once the institution is equipped, students can use the software within the academic framework defined by their school.
Who needs to attend the training?

Training is intended for faculty members and instructors who will be teaching ETAP, CANECO or SEE as part of their curriculum.
Why can teacher training sessions be mandatory?
Mandatory training ensures that instructors:
- Master the software efficiently
- Teach in line with industry best practices
- Deliver consistent, high-quality education to students
  These training sessions are offered at preferential academic rates.
Are there any costs involved at all?

The software licenses themselves are 100% free.
However, training sessions for teaching staff are paid and are normally required before licenses are deployed within the institution.
